A.K. Alexis

CEO

A.K. Alexis is a visual scholar and cinematographer who cares about how images accentuate stories. They are currently investigating rhetorics of silence and anonymity, and are committed to engaging unnamed histories in black families through sound and image making. Alexis received their B.A. from Hampshire College in filmmaking and photography with a concentration in critical race theory in media.  For their thesis, they presented an ongoing body of work on homeownership, labor, and rest within the black immigrant nurse community. In addition to their long-term documentary research, they are gravitating towards new film projects, including one on the exploration of blackness in the horror genre.

Greg dzurita

Job Title

Greg Dzurita is a self-taught visual artist with influences drawn from creative minds such as Hilma af Klint and Frank Lloyd Wright. Greg’s work explores a balance between architecture and mid-century modern design, creating minimal studies in color and shape composition.

Upon moving to New York City in 2014, Greg was inspired by details found in his surroundings and travels. His work calls attention to beauty & intricacies otherwise unnoticed. The curve of a home in Santorini, the color of a storefront in Brooklyn, the sunlight through a window in Havana. He assembles this beauty from forgotten corners and makes it clear to the viewer what they may have missed.
